X=6 is the 600 series;
Temperature series | Specifications | Lead free applications | The maximum Fahrenheit/Celsius temperature that this series can reach |
600 | TATC-6XX | Temperature sensitive | 675℉/357℃ |
This temperature is a reference temperature, the actual temperature is not that high, and the actual temperature shall prevail;
The span dimension "A" refers to two of the three insertion methods using a tweezers shaped soldering iron tip (TALON)
The minimum and maximum distance between soldering iron tips
The TATC series tweezer type soldering iron tip is a specialized soldering iron tip for the tweezer shaped handle MX-TALON-01, with two temperature series of 500 and 600 available. Its unique chamfer design makes it more adaptable and versatile, for example, when removing SOIC, 0603 chip, tantalum capacitor with 28 pins, there is no need to replace the soldering iron tip. The soldering iron tip is purchased in pairs. It should be noted that during operation, please ensure that the pins are in good contact with the soldering iron tip for better heat conduction
Each Metcal soldering iron tip is specially designed to efficiently transfer energy, which means you can usually use a Metcal soldering iron to100F or lower temperature than regular soldering ironPerform normal welding below. In most cases, the 500 series soldering iron tip can perform the job well
