Maintenance and Cleaning of Techcon TS5440 Needle Valve

Required tools: 7/64 "16 inch progress wrench, adjustable wrench, buckle pliers, O-ring tool. In general, after cleaning the valve with appropriate flushing materials or solvents, it can be cleaned. However, some materials may cause accumulation in the valve chamber, in which case regular and thorough cleaning is required.

Warning: Before disassembling the valve, ensure that the fluid pressure is released. Specifically, as follows: 1) Release fluid pressure. 2) The liquid line is disconnected. 3) Disconnect the valve air hose. 4) Unscrew the fixed cap (1) and remove the dispensing needle. 5) Remove the three mounting screws (17). 6) Remove the fluid input port (4) from the cylinder (11). 7) Remove the Ruhr interface adapter assembly (2) from the fluid input port (4). 8) Clean and inspect the dispensing needle (8) and the assembly of the Luer interface adapter (2) for wear and damage. Replace parts if necessary. 9) If necessary, replace the O-ring (7). Ensure to lubricate the new O-ring with an approved lubricant. 10) Reinstall the Ruhr interface adapter (2) onto the fluid input port (4). 11) Align the fluid input port (4) with the cylinder (11) and reinstall the three mounting screws. Tighten the screws alternately until they are safe.)
