Repair welding

Release Date:2016-08-16

Purpose of welding repair:
Repair the components of the already soldered circuit board that do not meet the process requirements to make it a qualified product.
Steps for welding repair
1. Hold the circuit board in your hand, with the components facing up, and check if there are any high parts on the components. Check if there are any defects such as solder balls, bumps, or loose pins on the component pins.
2. Use your left index finger to press against the top of the component to be pressed, flip the circuit board 180 degrees to find the solder joints of the high component, and use a soldering iron to heat both solder joints until they are completely melted. Then, use your index finger to slightly press down the component. After the component is pressed onto the board, hold the diagonal pliers with your right hand and cut the long leg flat.
3. Place the solder joints of the circuit board facing upwards at a 30 degree angle on the workbench;
4. Focus the viewpoint on the middle position between the solder wire and the soldering iron, and start checking the solder joints from the upper left corner of the circuit board,
5. The solder wire, viewpoint, and soldering iron are scanned synchronously in an S-shape, and spot checks are required in areas with dense solder joints.
6. Hold a tin wire in your left hand and a soldering iron in your right hand, and enter the backup soldering state. The soldering iron should be kept clean, free of solder slag and other oxides, and coated with a layer of solder on the surface
When the welding surface of the workpiece is heated to a certain temperature, the solder wire contacts the workpiece from the opposite side of the soldering iron.
When the tin wire melts to a certain extent, immediately move the welding wire 45 degrees to the left.
9. After wetting the solder pad and the soldering part with solder, move the soldering iron 45 degrees to the right to end the soldering process from step three to step five.
